2. Alveda King

King, who serves as chair of the Center for the American Dream at the America First Policy Institute, and is also the niece of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., remembered Baucham for his faithfulness.

“May we all strive to live with the same devotion to truth and compassion that Voddie Baucham exemplified,” she wrote on X. “He longed for a better home, and now he has entered it. Thank you for your faithfulness, Dr. Baucham. We are all better because of it.”
