5. 'Seniors' — Oct. 23

“Seniors” offers an intergenerational comedy-drama about friendship, second chances and finding purpose in unexpected places.

The film, which stars John Rhys-Davies, Paris Brosnan, Bethany Anne Lind and Eric Mendenhall, follows a troubled teenager who begins performing community service at a retirement home, where he is recruited by a stubborn veteran for a secret treasure hunt tied to unfinished business from his past. What begins as an unlikely adventure gradually develops into a friendship that gives both characters something they had been missing: connection, friendship, belonging and a renewed sense of purpose.

A comedy/drama, "Seniors" highlights the relationships that can form across generations and the risks people are willing to take for those they come to care about.
