Sometimes life can just get hard for us. Most people having different ways of coping with discouragement and disappointment. When life gets hard and we feel down there is no better way to lift ourselves up then spending time with God.

Disappointment usually leads to discouragement and through time it gets hard to get past. When we become discouraged, we turn into another person. This is not the person God desired us to be. God wants us to be happy and love all people around us. When you feel disappointed, just know that there are others who may be dealing with an even worse situation. Consider this a blessing, and use it to learn from in the future.

Below are 7 Bible verses that will help when dealing with disappointment:

Psalms 42:11 - Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.

Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Matthew 28:20 - teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Philippians 4:6-7 - Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:23-25 - Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality.

James 5:16 - Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
