Evangelist Greg Laurie of Harvest Christian Fellowship in California, who leads Harvest stadium crusade gatherings attended by thousands each year, weighed in on the tragedy in an X post published Thursday.

“We mourn the tragic loss of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim — Messianic believers whose lives were taken in an act of evil fueled by antisemitism,” he wrote.

“As Christians, we must speak out wherever hatred appears — on our campuses, in our communities, and across our culture,” Laurie added. “We pray their families are surrounded by the peace of God that surpasses understanding. They are now safely in the arms of Yeshua. May their memories be a blessing.”

Laurie concluded his post by sharing the Bible passage Psalm 34:18, which declares, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
