Number two on the list is Houston, which boasts the third-highest number of adult entertainment establishments and ranks among the nation’s highest in Google search interest for extramarital affairs, pornography and strip clubs.

In addition to ranking among the top in the nation when it comes to lust, Houston’s residents are also among the most violent, with the nation’s fifth-highest number of mass shootings from January 2023 through June 2025.
