'Assassin's Creed Origins' DLC: New Leak Reveals Second 'Final Fantasy' Crossover

It is "Final Fantasy's" turn to cross over to the world of "Assassin's Creed."

Gamers will remember that back in August during the Chocobo Carnival, they got the chance to grab an Assassin outfit for Noctis.

In an announcement on the same month, Ubisoft Montreal game director Ashraf Ismai said that this will mark the beginning of their collaboration with Square Enix.

This collaboration is the result of being huge fans. There's a lot of respect between the two teams and we couldn't be more thrilled with the opportunity to pay homage to each other's work.

It looks like the second phase of this partnership will unfold soon in "Assassin's Creed Origins," if this new report is anything to go by.

A YouTuber by the name SPGamer has stumbled across a new location on the "Assassin's Creed Origins" map where gamers are tasked to solve a large puzzle that is expected to lead into some sort of tomb.

An assortment of weapons is laid in front of it that players can use to solve the puzzle. At the time of the discovery, the secret temple is still unfinished.

SPGamer used cheats to get a glimpse of the shrine and found illustrations of "Final Fantasy 15" heroes Ardyn and Noctis inside and outside of the tomb. The YouTuber believes that this very crypt has the latter's sword inside.

For now, however, nothing is for certain yet. But considering that Ubisoft and Square Enix Are looking to honor each other's works as fans, it is possible that "Final Fantasy" content is coming to "Assassin's Creed Origins."

Square Enix has already done its part last August and the time has come for Ubisoft to send the love back. The latter recently teased a "new surprise quest" coming to "Assassin's Creed Origins" this month in its latest blog post and SPGamer's discovery suggests this has to do with "Final Fantasy."
