Jonney Shih, the chairperson of ASUS, a multinational computer company based in Taiwan, first introduced the Eee Pad Transformer Prime tablet at the “AsiaD: All Things Digital” event in Hong Kong.

According to the ASUS chairperson, Transformer Prime will be the world’s first tablet featuring Project Kal-El, NVIDIA’s next generation quad-core Tegra mobile processor.

The company is attempting to blend power and versatility in an artistic and functional design with the new tablet.

The NVIDIA-made hardware gives birth to a new generation of tablets that will surpass the competition with performance while using little power. This type of combination allows high-definition entertainment to be enjoyed for an extended period on the device.

The new Transformer Prime tablet will also feature an incredibly slim form, coming in at 8.3mm thickness, making it thinner than the iPad 2. It will also have a metallic spun finish design for a secure and comfortable grip.

Its dock, which was deemed both innovative and convenient, will be even more easily accessible. Thee the dock is slimmed down and it provides the user with a keyboard and touchpad. It also gives the device added battery life.

While working with the slimmed down mobile dock, the Transformer Prime provides the user with unlimited power for working on various projects.
