'Banshee' Season 3 Premiere Date News, Spoilers: Cast Says New Episodes Will Be More Hardcore
The third season for the hit action-drama TV series "Banshee" is already close to airing its premiere episode and cast members are talking about what fans should expect when the show returns in 2015.
Actor Anthony Starr, who plays Lucas, dished that Season 3 is pretty much like "Season 2 on steroids."
"Season 3 is more of the same and then some. It's like Season 2 on steroids," Starr told GamerHubTV. "And I didn't think we could do that, but somehow we have. It's an interesting show to make because there's so much action in it, but yet it's also really emotionally and dramatically demanding as well. I've never worked on anything like it."
His co-star Ivana Milicevic, who plays Carrie on the show, also chimed in to say that there will be "more" that fans should expect when "Banshee" season 3 hits the small screen.
"More blood. More fighting. More sex. More drama," Milicevic said. "We're also going to go deeper into some of the characters you don't know that much about like Brock Lotus -- Rebecca has a really interesting turn as she goes down her dark path."
They also talked about the preparations they had to make in order to deliver an explosive third season.
"I really love Banshee, I love shooting it so much," she said. "By season three I think we're physically more tired because of the fight training, just the training in general."
"It's really super demanding and it's a brutal show to make, but I think the results are paying off," Starr added. "The process is paying off."
"Banshee" Season 3 will air its premiere episode on Friday, Jan. 9 on Cinemax.
