'Batman v Superman' Cast Rumors, Latest News: Leaked Photo Revealed DC Character Kahina
New developments on the upcoming DC Universe "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" revealed leaked pictures from the film's production set and it looks like another character from the comic books will be featured in the movie.
As reported, the character is an ally of Aquaman named Kahina the Seer.
ABC Journalist James Hill posted on his Twitter account a picture of a trailer door with a sign that says "KAHINA DOUBLE." It caused quite a stir on Twitter with some people asking further if there's a Bruce Wayne/Batman trailer parked beside it.
Several other reports also stated that actress Jena Malone could be playing the role.
"Jena Malone was finally confirmed for an unspecified role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, just a few weeks after she was first spotted on the set with director Zack Snyder," according to a Movie Web report.
Management and producers of the project haven't yet confirmed nor commented on the rumors so far.
Based on the comic book canon, Kahina the Seer possesses the ability to see the future and was Aquaman's closest ally in defeating his enemies like Black Manta.
In the comic books, she's a member of a superhero group organized by The King of the Seven Seas called "The Others." She draws her psychic ability from a mystical object found from Atlantis, the Seal of Clarity, to help her see what's going to happen. However, her ability is limited as she failed to predict her own death.
Among the already confirmed cast members of the forthcoming flick include Ben Affleck (as Bruce Wayne/Batman), Henry Cavill (as Clark Kent/Superman), and Gal Gadot (as Wonder Woman), among others.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is being directed by Zack Snyder and is slated to hit the theaters in March 2016.
