The participants were moved with joy in a powerful praise and worship preceeding Benny Hinn's lecture on "Anointing." In a three-week preparation of event, the organizers were able to gather Christian leaders from different regions of the country to represent their church in the conference.

Benny Hinn expressed his gratitude for a warm welcome he received from the Filipino pastors before he made the powerful lecture.

Hinn's another major agenda in visiting the Philippines is to build a huge orphanage that could accommodate more children. The Cathedral of Praise is presently maintaining an orphanage in a rented house in a not specified location in Manila. The home has 49 children under its care and being supported by the members of the church.

Hinn asked the cooperation of Christian leaders to find a couple of hectares of land within the metropolis, which the ministry could buy and built a bigger home, for the orphans. He also seeks the prayers of the participants for the possible commencement of the plan in the near future.

During his stay, he was able to visit the two orphanages maintained by Cathedral of Praise.

Hinn, in his message, discussed the importance of being anointed in a certain ministry. He emphasized that a work of service would be useless without the anointing of God. Since the participants were ministers and church leaders, he discussed real situations on congregations, which he himself had experience during his visits to different churches around the world.

He shared his knowledge on how a pastor could minister well in his church. He also explained the secret on how to prepare a good sermon for Sunday service and on how could the leaders encourage the members to come back to church.

"It took me a week to prepare a sermon," he said. "Because God's people deserve the best food."The auditorium was flooded with "amens" and "hallelujahs."

Despite some criticisms and questions about his credibility, Hinn charged them all to persecutions an ordinary Christian must undergo. "They criticize me because I am anointed!" he laughingly said.

Hinn also delivered a message for the service at the Cathedral of Praise on Sunday.
