With the successful run of "Better Call Saul" Season 2, it seems as though there is more to learn about the world of "Breaking Bad."

"Better Call Saul" was released as a prequel spin-off to the hit series "Breaking Bad." The spin-off followed the story of Jimmy McGill, also known as Saul Goodman to "Breaking Bad" fans, and how he ended up a morally compromised lawyer.

Though the creators of both shows did not expect such a positive response from viewers, it was revealed that there could be a lot more in store for the universe of "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul," as per Den of Geek.

According to the Vulture Festival, the co-creators of the series Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, hinted at the possibility of continuing the story after the "Breaking Bad" timeline. The two were asked if the characters had their happy endings after the death of Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston.

With that, Gould stated, "I don't think anything is predetermined. Even with Breaking Bad we had a story that was set up from the beginning: Mr. Chips turns into Scarface. This show we have Jimmy McGill becomes Saul Goodman, which in some ways seems not as extreme of a journey, a different kind of journey."

In addition, there are hints that the upcoming season of "Better Call Saul" will present some characters from the "Breaking Bad" series. It was reported that fans saw a clue in the episode titles. When the first letters of the titles were rearranged, it teased the return of Gustavo Fring, who was a pivotal role in the series.

However, there has yet to be any news on how the character will return. With that, fans will jus have to wait and see who else will make an appearance in the upcoming season of "Better Call Saul."

"Better Call Saul" Season 3 is expected to air on 2017.
