Black Friday 2014: Deals from Wal-Mart, Apple, and Best Buy

With only a few weeks until the holiday shopping frenzy of Black Friday arrives, shoppers gear up as they prepare to storm Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Toys R' Us, Target, and other stores for the best deals of the year.

Black Friday experts are predicting that laptops and TVs will be this year's doorbusters. According to Komando.com, stores across the nation have a big backlog of last year's laptops due to the popularity of tablets and smartphones, so naturally they will want to get rid of their stocks.

Those who don't want to wait in line or get elbowed in the face while shopping can still take part in the Black Friday madness as some stores offer the same discounts online, with some places like Target even offering free shipping between now and December 20.

Here are some of the best deals for Black Friday 2014:

Wal-Mart
According to a report from NBC affiliate King5 News, Wal-Mart Black Friday Sale will start at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Last year, they offered one hour in-stock guarantee on several Doorbuster items, so it's highly possible that Wal-Mart could do a repeat of this offer this year. So far, they have not released their ad for Black Friday 2014, but it is likely to be posted once stores all over the country start handing out the Black Friday flyers. Items that were posted on last year's flyers include a 32-inch LED TV for $98, an LG Blu-Ray Player for only $38, and the 16 GB iPad Mini at $299.

Apple
Who wouldn't want to receive a shiny new gadget with the famous Apple logo? Last year, Apple sold items at full cost and bundled the items with Apple gift cards. It might be better to look to Wal-Mart and Best Buy which tend to offer Apple items up to $200 cheaper than the original price. Dealnews.com predicts that the original iPad Air could drop to $360 on Black Friday, while the first generation iPad Mini could drop to $199. The 2013 MacBook Air is also expected to slash its price down to $699.

Best Buy
Best Buy Black Friday store hours will begin at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving evening, according to WCPO. The listing for this year's deals has not been released, but if last year's Black Friday flyer is an indication of what the bargain buys are for this year, then shoppers can expect a lot of good deals. In 2013, they offered the Samsung 40-inch LED Smart HDTV at $479.99, the 16 GB Apple iPad Mini at $249.99, the Panasonic 32-inch LED HDTV at $189.99, and the Amazon Kindle Fire at $99.99, among others.
