Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds News: Couple Reportedly Expecting Second Baby

Following the rumors that emerged last week about Blake Lively expecting baby number 2 with Ryan Reynolds, a major outlet has confirmed the news.

According to People, a source close to the actress recently confirmed that the hot couple are indeed expecting their second child. "Blake is absolutely thrilled and so is Ryan," the source said.

While a representative for both Reynolds and Lively gave no comment about the said issue, another insider said the actress may show off her growing bump in a big event next month. The source said fans may see Lively's baby bump at the upcoming Met Gala which will be held on May 2.

Just recently, the 27-year-old actress shared with Marie Claire that she would love to have a lot of kids in the family. "If I could spit out a litter of kids, I would," she said. Though she did not say anything about a second baby on the way during the said interview, many fans believe she may have already hinted at that time that another baby is joining the family soon.

The rumors first started after snaps of Lively emerged online on the set of "The Shallows." According to E! News, she was spotted filming reshoots for the thriller but appeared to be covering up her tummy. She was photographed covering her stomach area with a giant robe while shooting beside the sea.

The couple have a 16-month-old girl, James, and after she was born, they have shared their joy many times in various interviews. Reynolds, in particular, said he and his former "Gossip Girl" wife are planning to have a big family.

Last year, the "Deadpool" star said of his first child, "When it's a baby, it's the best thing that ever happened to you."

Reynolds and Lively have been married since September 2012 and are included in the list of Hollywood's most loved red carpet couples.
