'Bones' Season 11 News: Will Season 11 Be The Last?

Fans are worried that season 11 will be the last season of "Bones" since Dana Walden, Fox's co-CEO, recently confirmed that she's not sure if the show will return for another season.

According to Inquistr, the fate of the hit series "Bones" is still unknown since the Fox executives have not yet made a decision on whether to renew the show for a 12th season. This may be because of the fact that the series has not yet returned after its midseason finale last December, and no air date has been confirmed for "Bones" season 11 episode 11.

However, if the show does get canceled after season 11, Hollywood Life said that Walden promises that the show will end on a more "satisfying" note. "If it's going to be the end of this season, though, we're going to give them plenty of time to start writing a meaningful ending to the show," Walden shared during the last Television Critics Association winter press tour. "We've got such a loyal viewership, and those viewers deserve a very satisfying ending, so we're trying to be very sensitive about that," she said.

David Boreanaz, the actor who plays FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth, admitted last year that it might now be the time for the show to rest. The actor was asked by E! Online if he sees this season as the series' last, he said, "For me it's a yes."

The website said that if the decision were up to Boreanaz , he will end "Bones" in season 11. "For me, personally, I think it's time. I think that 11 seasons is great," Boreanaz said. "I mean, one season is great! I don't really count it as seasons but what we've given to the show and what we can do, for me it's great to see the show come to an end and do it the way we want to do it," he shared. Fans are definitely saddened to see the end finally approaching for one of TV's most favorite series in the past 10 years.

No confirmed date has been released yet on when the show will return this year after its long hiatus. Stay tuned for latest updates.
