Against the Atlanta Braves in their last series, Kansas won 2-1 but were very inconsistent and need to find their focus in facing a tough Red Sox squad.
As for their team leaders in batting, Eric Hosmer leads the team with a .336 batting average, while Mike Moustakas has seven home runs to lead the Royals in that division. Finally, Salvador Perez has 20 Runs Batted In to lead the team.
