Brody Jenner Says Bruce Jenner Seems 'Better Than Ever' After Separation

Bruce Jenner, the 64-year-old Olympic gold medalist who married reality television star matriarch Kris Jenner, is doing better than ever since the pair's separation, according to his son.

Bruce and Kris, the 57-year-old manager and matriarch of the infamous Kardashian clan that appears on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," announced their split after 22 years of marriage last October. However, Bruce's 30-year-old son Brody insists that his father may be doing better as a single man.

"He seems like he is doing great," Brody told The New York Daily News recently. "Seems like better than ever ... growing his hair out, and he has a ponytail."

Brody seemed to think that it was better for the Jenners to split up if they were only staying together for the sake of their children.

"At the end of the day, once you get to that age, the most important thing is, are you there for the kids," Brody told the Daily News.

Kris insists that she and her estranged husband are happier people after their separation.

"He's great and I'm great and we're such good friends. Sometimes people are just better apart and have better energy," Kris told Radar Online. "We don't bicker as much. We were starting to sound like some old sitcom from the 50s. I listened to myself and didn't like me. Everyone is happier."

While the Jenners have two daughters together, Kris' four children from a previous marriage have come to look to him as a father figure. Rob Kardashian, Kris' son, spoke about his support for Bruce despite the recent separation.

"Bruce to me is always be my dad. He's been in my life since I was two years old and that will never change and… same with my sisters," Kardashian, 26, told Entertainment Tonight previously. "Even between my mom and Bruce there's no negative, bad blood… I don't think they can be in a happier place right now."

Bruce seemed to agree with Rob's assessment of the situation.

"I'm doing great. Kris is happy, I'm happy. Nobody is filing for divorce," he told PEOPLE last October. "Kris has her own place and I have my own place. There's no animosity. Everything is good."
