Bryce Crawford talks Waffle House, Bonnie Blue and being the 'worst human'
4. Crawford warns psychics, Bonnie Blue act on ‘misdirected desire for God’
After Mandel pressed Crawford for his opinion about psychics, the Christian influencer said, “I respect and love all people,” but added that “just because I disagree with someone’s lifestyle or what they practice ... doesn’t mean I don’t love them.”
He countered that rather, “I love them enough to tell them that if I believe I have the truth then I love them enough to tell them, ‘Hey I love you as a human being, but I think what you’re doing is wrong and I think that there’s a better way.’”
“I believe that anything outside of choosing Jesus is just misdirected desire for God,” Crawford proclaimed, adding that “finding an avenue through a different religion” is an example of how people act on their misdirected desire for God.
When Mandel pushed Crawford to explain someone's psychic abilities, such as when “somebody has the experience of hearing something from a perfect stranger that nobody else would know,” he explained that “there is a supernatural realm,” and “if that spirit that is talking to me is not the Holy Spirit then it’s going to be a demonic vibrance.”
Later on in the podcast, Mandel asked Crawford for his thoughts on Bonnie Blue, who has become famous for creating porn. Crawford once again used the phrase “misdirected desire for God” when discussing her lifestyle. “There’s some way or multiple ways maybe that she’s hurting and she’s misdirecting that hurt,” he contended.
