Capcom Releases Free 'Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate' DLC Pack This Month (VIDEO)

Capcom has released a free "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate" DLC pack as part of its monthly expansion pack offer.

In line with the free downloadable content it releases for its action role-playing game, "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate" every month, Capcom has shared a new trailer for its September DLC featuring new quests for players.

With the September DLC pack now live, players can sink their teeth into challenging new quests and get their hands on new gear. There are also speculations hunters will need to form teams online to be able to meet the difficult quests ahead.

There will be 12 new quests to present players with new larger and more powerful monsters, and three new area challenges. Players will get the chance to acquire a new weapon, with a new armor set included.

The September expansion pack will also offer a Pep Squad Palico equipment set with one bonus Green Pal Palico, a Guild Card background, and six Guild Card titles.

Players will need the new gear to battle a number of monsters, including a Savage Deviljho, a Tigerstripe Zamtrios, and a Seltas Queen, as well as larger monsters like an Akantor, a Gogmazios, and a Shah Dalamadur.

The September DLC items will be available for use upto October 2 when Capcom will be launching a new expansion pack for the game.

While "Hunter Monster 4 Ultimate" is a Nintendo 3DS exclusive available for all regions, Japanese players will be getting a brand new title in the series, "Monster Hunter 4 X" by November this year. The new entry will have a different feel from the previous games with the inclusion of a huge number of new features, monsters, and lightning attacks.

Capcom has yet to announce the "Monster Hunter 4 X" release date for US and European regions.
