Casting Crowns to Headline Lifesong Tour

Casting Crowns has announced plans for their first headlining Lifesong Tour in support of its new album "Lifesong," which is slated for release on August 30.

Featuring Dove Award winning band Building 429 along with guest speaker Tony Nolan, the Fall 2005 tour will make stops at 38 cities beginning on September 29.

Lead vocalist Mark Hall plans to encourage local youth pastors with youth-worker clinics in several cities, which have yet to be determined, on the tour.

Casting Crowns nabbed the Gospel Music Association's Group of the Year along with six other Dove Awards this year.

With numerous awards and the successful wrap up of the All Things New Tour with Steven Curtis Chapman and Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns continues to promote its fundamental message: "Jesus is not a religion, and God is not a book...It's about life, not religion. It's about relationships, not books," says Hall.
