Chris Brown Twitter Fans Urge Star to 'Stop'

Users on Twitter have taken to the site urging Chris Brown to stop reacting to criticism and landing himself in more hot water.

Brown performed at the Grammy Awards Sunday night, three years after he was involved in a domestic dispute with fellow singer and then-girlfriend Rihanna.

His appearance at the awards show was scrutinized by many viewers, including major names in music such as country singer Miranda Lambert.

"Chris Brown twice?" said the singer of Brown's two stage appearances Sunday. "I don't get it. He beat on a girl… Not cool that we act like that didn't happen."

Also, singer Michelle Branch posted to Twitter, "Trying not to go off on a rant but… Chris Brown… *bites tongue* have we forgiven him?"

In response to the criticism against him, Brown took to Twitter in a rage seemingly common for him.

"Hate all you want becuz I got a Grammy now. That's the ultimate F--- off!" wrote the singer on his account. The tweet was immediately deleted, and replaced with another post.

"I'm back so watch my back as I walk away from all this negativity #teambreezygrammy," wrote Brown.

Brown's angry reactions led to even more criticism, landing him in a public relations nightmare. Many fans of the "Forever" singer took to Twitter with advice and support for him.

"@ChrisBrown, Young King, YOU are the SuperStar, haters and baiters need you to respond to be relivant [sic] don't give in to em! Gotcha back doe!" wrote Twitter user and fan 1BigKittyKat.

"Chris Brown, just stop tweeting," another user, Molly, wrote on Twitter.

The singer has not listened to his fans' advice though. Brown's Twitter fury continued Thursday with the singer posting, "I think you amongst others are definitely delusional but u r entitled to your opinion,"-a post seemingly directed toward his critics.

Brown and Rihanna have caused controversy among fans and parents groups recently as they have begun openly communicating with one another via Twitter, despite Brown currently serving a five-year probation sentence for the felony attack.

Following the court hearing where he pled guilty, Brown withdrew from several public appearances and faced serious backlash. Many radio stations stopped playing his music, he was denied a visa to enter the U.K. based on the grounds of "being guilty of a serious criminal offense," and the budding star was ousted from many media events.

His latest album, "F.A.M.E.,"- an acronym for Forgiving All My Enemies- was released last March and nominated for three Grammys.

This week, Brown and rapper Busta Rhymes released an official music video for the song "Why Stop Now."
