Pastor Greg Laurie of the multi-campus Harvest Christian Fellowship based in California released a statement on X indicating that he was in Israel as the attack took place.

"As Christians, we cannot remain silent," Laurie insisted. "We must speak out against this evil and stand up for our Jewish friends. So much of the hatred they face is rooted in ignorance and lies."

"God gave this land — the land of Israel — to the Jewish people. They long to live in peace with their neighbors. Let's continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and let every Jewish friend know: You are not alone."
