Bungie wrote a statement on their website detailing the patch they released for "Destiny: Rise of Iron". The patch brings new changes to Destiny's weapons, including the Exotics.
More specifically, the Fabian Strategy will have a 16 percent base range increase and 44 percent stability increase. The base range of the Thorn has been reduced by a quarter since it will be back for "Destiny: Rise of Iron."

Bungie also made changes for the sniper rifle as mid-high snipers cannot guarantee kill against high-armor players with activated super states.
