DWTS Results Tonight Put Rob Kardashian Out Front

Reality television star Rob Kardashian and professional dance partner Cheryl Burke earned their first perfect score of the season in their freestyle performance in the final of "Dancing with the Stars" Monday night.

In a new twist for the final Kardashian and Burke ended the night top of the leader board on judges’ points, earning 57 out of a maximum 60 points.

Previous favorite, talk show host Ricki Lake and her professional dance partner Derek Hough, as well as war hero J.R. Martinez and partner Karina Smirnoff were placed just behind Kardashian on the leader board, with each couple receiving a total of 54 points out of the possible 60.

With scores being as close as this, It now look as though the winning couple will be decided by the viewer vote.

The final results show will take place on Tuesday evening, with viewers being able to vote until that time. The two couples that receive the highest combined total from the judges’ scores and the viewers votes will be given the chance to perform one last dance before this year’s winner of the mirror ball trophy is decided.
