Ecumenical Leaders Tackle Evangelism, Relief, Interfaith Response, in new Weblog

The nation¡¯s largest ecumenical group began a Weblog to record and share stories and photos from Sri Lanka and Sumatra, Indonesia, Jan 7, 2004. The weblog, monitored and filled by the National Council of Churches Interfaith Relations Director Shanta Premawardhana, and Vince Isner, a United Methodist and Director of FaithfulAmerica.org, covers topics such as evangelizing in the affected regions and giving what is really needed by the people.
According to the NCC, the two are traveling through Sri Lanka and Sumatra to ask Christians, Muslims, Buddhists and Hindus how they are finding meaning in the wake of the Dec. 26 earthquake-tsunami.
