The election polling website FiveThirtyEight took an average of national polls regarding Biden and Trump, with the Democratic challenger besting the Republican incumbent.

In numbers posted Monday, the site had Biden ahead with 50.8% while Trump had 42.7%, with the former maintaining the lead he has held for months.

FiveThirtyEight has been tracking the poll numbers of Biden and Trump since March, with Biden having polled ahead of the president the entire time the site has been keeping track.

The new numbers represent a slight increase from two weeks ago, when the site gave Biden 50.4% and Trump 43.6%.

Although the lead Biden presently has is 8.1%, on multiple days in July he polled with a stronger lead, getting as high as 9.6 more percentage points than Trump.
