A Reuters/Ipsos poll released Sunday and based off of polling taken Oct. 2-3 reported Biden well ahead of Trump, with the Democratic challenger having 51% to Trump’s 41%.

According to Reuters, the poll came after both the first debate and news of Trump testing positive for COVID-19 and marked the largest lead that Biden has had over Trump in weeks.

“Only 34% said they thought that Trump has been telling them the truth about the coronavirus, while 55% said that he was not and 11% were unsure,” reported Reuters.

“Of those polled, 57% of Americans said they disapproved of Trump’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic overall, up about 3 points from a poll that ran late last week.”
