Erica Campbell could have relied on a high profile music video director to create a treatment for her new single "You Are," but instead she is enlisting fans to help create the visuals for her upcoming video.

Campbell, 42, has Grammy, AMA, ASCAP and Image awards among others as a member of Mary Mary. After her first solo album "Help" debuted with the top spot on the US Billboard Gospel Albums charts last March, Campbell recently released her third single "You Are."

Now she is giving groups of fans the opportunity to not only appear in her upcoming video, but to create a concept for the visuals.

"Hey #TeamEC! Want to be in my music video for 'You Are?' Campbell tweeted. "Gather your team & show me what you got!"

The group video submission competition began on Aug 20, 2014 with the submission period of the competition officially ending on Sept. 20, 2014 at Noon. The most creative submissions will be selected, which can be mailed to imericacampbell@gmail.com for consideration.

More information about the terms and conditions of the competition can be found here.

Campbell's album "Help" recently earned her four Dove Award nominations for Gospel Performance of the Year, Contemporary/Gospel Urban Album of the Year, Traditional Gospel Song of the Year and Contemporary Gospel/Urban Song of the Year.

Just before the release of "Help" Campbell exclusively told The Christian Post about her debut solo album.

"It's kind of eclectic in my opinion because there are songs that are really mellow and have guitar and harmonica and ukulele that are not really traditional gospel. I just wanted to be free to be me," she told CP. "Some of it is really upbeat and intense and some of it is really laid back and simple. I'm so grateful for the believers who support and listen but I'm so excited for the people who are learning about Jesus through my music."
