5 of the biggest companies to flee California for Texas
They say everything’s bigger in Texas — and that includes the number of U.S. corporate headquarters, which has jumped sharply in the last decade.
Roughly 200 companies have moved their headquarters to Texas since 2020, including some of the nation’s biggest brands like KFC and the New York Stock Exchange.
But it’s California that has been perhaps the biggest loser when it comes to watching corporate revenue flee the state for Texas.
