5 reactions to death of late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart

An activist organization that travels the country to perform comedy skits in support of abortion and aid clinics expressed grief over Carhart’s death. In a Friday tweet, the Abortion Access Front wrote that it was “deeply saddened” at the news of his passing, referring to the abortionist as a “pioneer in reproductive care.” 

“Dr. Carhart's commitment to ensuring access to safe and legal abortion was unwavering,” the group wrote, sharing pictures of its members posing with Carhart and his staff.  

“Our hearts go out to his family, the community of abortion providers and advocates, and to those whose life he has touched. He will be profoundly missed,” they concluded.
