'Gas the Jews': Anti-Israel rallies break out following Hamas attack

Demonstrators in Beverly Hills, just outside Los Angeles, rallied together Monday to express support for Israel.

As ABC 7 News reported Tuesday, many participants have relatives in Israel, and some even have loved ones who were called upon by the Israel Defense Forces following the outbreak of war. 

"I can't stop crying," Irit Ofry told ABC 7 News. "It's my country. I'm here, but it's my country, it's my people."

According to a World Population Review report, as of April 2021, the U.S. was home to 5.7 million Jews, the majority of whom live in New York, California, Florida and New Jersey.
