'General Hospital' Spoilers, News: Jake's Reunion Delay, Jordan's Life in Trouble

Things are getting more intense in the hit ABC daytime soap "General Hospital" and spoiler reports suggest fans should never miss a day of the show.

For one reason, GH viewers will see their favorite characters gathering at the Metro Court to celebrate New Year's eve. Not only that, Celebrity Dirty Laundry indicated in their report that Patrick Drake will finally have the courage to ask Sam Morgan out on a date for the New Year's event.

Sam's mother, on the other hand, will be having some romantic woes as she decides to go out with her boyfriend Ned for the occasion. However, this won't be easy for her when she finds out that Julian will also be attending the party. Julian's presence will most likely distract her.

Maxie and Nathan, meanwhile, will try to get the best of the holiday together as they find themselves on the race against time as the former must make it home before the clock strikes midnight.

The week won't just be about merriment, however. Spoilers indicated that fans might still have to hold on to their excitement about Jake's reunion with wife Sam and son Danny. According to CDL, "reunion for the family doesn't seem to be in the cards for the popular couple, not any time soon anyways."

Jordan, on her part, will have to constantly look over her shoulders as previous reports pointed out that her life is in danger.

As for the GH coming and goings, CDL said that Kelly Frye will debut as Ivy on Dec. 30. She will make her entrance at the New Year's Eve party as someone's date. They cited the rumor that Julian will be the one to bring along the newcomer just for the purpose of making Alexis jealous.
