'Gotham' Season 2 Spoilers: New Villain Azrael Revealed, Jada Pinkett Smith to Return

American crime television series "Gotham" will be closing its second season soon. But before it could air its finale, a lot it still to unfold in its last few episodes. For starters, a new villain is to emerge. According to a report by Melty, season 2 episode 19 will be titled "Wrath of the Villains: Azrael" and it will show Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) pursuing the man responsible for the tragedy of his parents.

The synopsis released said that Gordon and Bruce will be querying Professor Strange regarding the Project Chimera. This will cause Strange to send the newly resurrected Theo Galavan (James Frain) to face Gordon. However, as noted in Ecumenical News, Galavan will not be appearing the same as he used to be anymore. The promo video released revealed him as Azrael, the redeemed one. Popular for his red and black getup in the comics, Azrael dons the same look. It is still to be known though if he will be getting a flaming sword.

Galavan isn't the only one who is going to make a villainous comeback though. As detailed by Cartermatt, fans will be catching Jada Pinkett Smith once again in the show after being killed off in the first season. She will reprise her role as Fish Mooney as her character will be brought back from the dead with the help of Strange. The source mentioned that this event will take place on the May 16 episode titled "Wrath of the Villain: A Legion of Horribles."
