'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 4 Episode 6 Spoilers: Laurel Schedules a Paternity Test

There is more to Frank's (Charlie Weber) suspicion that he is the father Laurel's (Karla Souza) child in the upcoming episode of "How to Get Away with Murder."

In the episode titled "Stay Strong, Mama," the promo shows Laurel lying on a hospital bed, asking the doctor an important question. She wants to know when she can schedule a paternity test. Last episode, viewers learned that she and Frank slept together that one time he stayed in her place. This was when Laurel and Wes (Alfred Enoch) were still together, which meant she cheated on her boyfriend before his death.

Although Laurel was quick to shut down Frank's insinuations, her actions show that she is also scared that it may be true. From the start, Laurel has claimed that the baby is Wes'. Frank's revelation that he could be the father has opened up a whole new mess for both of them. If Laurel wants a test to determine the baby's paternity, it is obvious that she also does not know the truth.

Series creator Pete Nowalk has said that more mysteries would be added to the storyline as the season progresses. For Laurel, the answers to who killed Wes and what happened to the baby would be revealed in the middle of the installment.

"We will be filling in that whole night of puzzle, we'll be giving you more puzzle pieces. By the middle of the season, as we normally do, you'll get the answer to what happened to Laurel and how this all came to be," Nowalk said. "As we go through the season, you'll get more clues that perhaps this all stems from some sort of rotten plan."

Meanwhile, the episode will also see Laurel starting to investigate her father's company. She knows that Jorge (Esai Morales) has been acting weird lately. So far, Laurel has yet to figure out that he sent Dominic (Nicholas Gonzalez) to kill Wes.

"How to Get Away with Murder" season 4 airs Thursdays, at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
