HTC One M9 Release Date, Specs News: Video Leak Reveals Upcoming Phone In Full Detail

In what is said to be the biggest leak this month, videos of the new HTC One M9 were revealed online showing the Taiwanese manufacturer's new flagship device in detail.

A series of videos showing the upcoming HTC One M9 in full detail were leaked on the Internet, thoroughly showcasing HTC Corporation's latest smartphone offering's design and software features.

In several videos uploaded by known Android device leaker, @Upleaks, which were later taken down, an complete overview of the HTC One M9 was revealed. In the first video the phone is shown in profile. Appearing very like its predecessor, the HTC One M8, it presents a two-tone metal finish body, a 20MP rear facing camera, and an UltraPixel front camera ideal for low-light photography.

The first video also shows viewers the phone's personalization option that will allow users to upload their own source image as their theme, and a home screen display that intuitively changes the apps displayed based on how often they are used, the user's location, and even the time of day.

The second video is dedicated to the phone's software features, such as photo capture, personalization options, and even HTC's new meal recommendations and social media updates on its BlinkFeed system.

The third video focuses mainly on HTC One M9's camera, revealing its improved image capture in a wide variety of light conditions, as well as photo effects, and editing options. HTC appears to be putting more emphasis on the front camera, giving it a higher pixel display than its predecessors.

The HTC One M9 will be featuring a BoomSound system with the added boost of Dolby Audio Surround. It will also be offering users HTC Connect that allows what is being called a "three-finger swipe" method to access streaming music and even video.

HTC's new flagship device is slated for official launch at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain March 1.
