iPad Mini 2 Release Date Scheduled for November 21

The iPad Mini 2 release date is set for Nov. 21 on Target's website.

Apple did not announced an official launch date for the device yet, so this listing at the retailer is a good indication of when it will officially hit stores. The company did say that it will be available before the end of Nov.

This launch date would also have the tablet out in time for the official kick off of the holiday shopping season which is Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. Apple could use the beginning of the month to promote and market the iPad Air.
