iPhone 6 vs iPhone 6 Plus Comparison, Specs Review: Size Variants Split Users

The iPhone 6 came out last month with two size variants, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the bigger 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. While the release of two different variants has been a welcome change for Apple, the split in choices has left many people contemplating on whether to get the somewhat-normal sized iPhone 6 or the phablet class iPhone 6 Plus.

It would be difficult to compare two phones made by the same company but if there would be any differences, it would be how each phone would feel to different users. At a single glance, the most noticeable difference between the two phones is the size.

A few days after the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus was released to the stores, users began to comment about the iPhone 6 Plus's incredible size and how it felt on the hand. Of course, this is where the smaller iPhone 6 gained an advantage. The 4.7-inch iPhone 6 was smaller and thinner than its bigger brother, thus it felt more ergonomic to hold.

Also, the iPhone 6's finish handicaps the bigger variant in the sense that it slips easier from the hand due to its sleek and smooth design. To remedy this, one would want to invest in a case so that the iPhone 6 Plus is easier to grip and hold.

With the iPhone 6 Plus's bigger screen and higher screen resolution, it would be a better option for those who wouldn't mind the phone's big profile but the smaller iPhone 6 would proably be better for those with small hands.
