iPod Touch 6: Will 6th Gen Device Launch This Year?

Stabley Times reported that Apple is currently enjoying the huge success in sales and high demands for its current-gen smartphones, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and that it would be needless for the Cupertino-based tech giant to stage another unveiling for this year – that includes the iPod Touch 6.
As it turns out, the 6th Gen iPod Touch remains nothing more than a figment of the imagination. Adding to the disappointment is Apple's silence on the issue which subsequently suggests that the compact media player line has been discontinued entirely.
As for the reason hype about the iPod Touch device never died down, it has been said that the gadget would see the integration of the new A8 processor to be coupled with 1GB of RAM.
As for the design, tech rumors pointed out that 6th-gen media player will be presented with an array of vibrant colors that will surely attract the younger consumers.
A different report meanwhile said that the gadget will arrive with only a dual-core processor but with a larger memory storage capacity. Words on the street even went to say that it would have the Retina Display technology as well as Touch ID and Apple Pay.
