Ivory Coast vs Japan Live Stream Free, TV Start Time: Watch World Cup 2014 Football Online

Ivory Coast will play Japan in what should be an intriguing Group C game from the World Cup 2014 in Brazil on Sunday night. This will be a test between the strength and power of the Ivory Coast and then speed and teamwork of Japan. The game will start at 9 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the ESPN network, or online through free live stream (details below).

Group C is one of the most open, with each of the four teams probably feeling that they have a good chance of snatching a top two spot and a place in the knock out rounds. The group consists of Ivory Coast, Japan, Colombia and Greece.

Most pundits have Colombia and Ivory Coast down as the teams who will emerge from this group, however, Japan have had some fantastic results recently and if they are at the top of their game they can give any team at this World Cup some troubles. Greece also, although not a footballing giant, do have some skillful players, and have made the World Cup on merit, so they will also feel like they have a great chance among the other three teams in this group.

Ivory Coast do have some star names, however, some have pointed out that they are an ageing bunch of players, and include Manchester City's Yaya Toure, 31, and former Chelsea legend Didier Drogba, 36.

Toure actually suffered a hamstring injury on the last day of the English Premier League season, and has been fighting to get back to fitness for the World Cup.

Ivory Coast coach Sabri Lamouchi has said, "He's still in a recovery phase and everything's going well. But he's not yet at 100 percent."

Japan will try to use their more youthful squad and strengths in speed and tenacity to pull off a shock today.

Japan's Italian coach Alberto Zaccheroni has said, "I consider the group to be very balanced. We have all more or less the same chances of success."

Ivory Coast will play Japan in Group C with a start time on Saturday of 9 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the ESPN network or online through free live stream by clicking here.
