"It was a fancy restaurant but they tried to keep it very low-key," a source told Us magazine of the rehearsal dinner.

"Jamie Lynn and Jamie were very mellow," the insider continued. "[They] spent most of the evening chatting with friends."

The couple, who have been involved for three years, appeared happy and relaxed on their big day. Spears reportedly wore a Liancarlo v-neck dress and she and Watson enjoyed a five-tiered wedding cake.

Spears' 5-year-old daughter Maddie from a previous relationship took on the role of flower girl, while
Britney's two sons Jayden James and Sean Federline reportedly walked down the aisle as ring bearers on their aunt's big day.

"[Jamie] had her hair in a side part and pulled back in low bun," an eyewitness revealed.

Spears and Watson announced their engagement last year via social media. The wedding marked the former Nickelodeon star's first marriage and second engagement.

She was previously engaged to Casey Aldridge, with whom she shares Maddie, however, they split nine months after her birth in 2010.

In 2007 Spears sparked controversy when it was revealed that she was pregnant with her first child at age 16. Subsequently she took time out of the limelight to focus on motherhood.

In November she released a new single "How Could I Want More," which she revealed is about Watson.

"I wrote that song when I was in a very vulnerable place. It was a few years back when I wrote it, and he (Jamie Watson) and I were going through a transition stage, and I had just moved to Nashville," Spears allegedly told thecountrysite.com.
