Jennifer Aniston Friends Against Justin Theroux Wedding? Drama Causing 'Strain'

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are reportedly experiencing relationship woes as insiders claim the actress' friends are objecting to their wedding.

The "Horrible Bosses" star, 45, and Theroux, 42, are yet to select a wedding date more than one year after their engagement which has raised questions about their relationship.

A new report claims Aniston's close friends, which include Courteney Cox and Chelsea Handler, may be the reason that the couple has not been able to push forward with wedding plans.

"Jen's friends think Justin is aloof. They say that he's never made an attempt to get to know them, and they think he has zero personality," a source told OK! magazine.

"They think Justin is the coldest man Jen's ever dated. When he's been around Courteney, Chelsea and the others, they say he goes out of his way to make them feel like outsiders," the insider continued. "His world is the only one he cares about— he's never really embraced Jen's world, and it's caused a huge strain on her friendships."

Earlier this year Aniston and her actor fiance were subject to split reports after it was revealed they had been living apart for several months. Theroux had been living in New York filming his upcoming series "The Leftovers" but the former "Friends" actress opted to stay in California.

While the couple was able to squash split reports it appears as though they have indeed faced some relationship woes.

"Justin is an East Coast guy who despises L.A. and the people there," said the source.

"Justin was relieved and excited," the source said of Theroux's move to New York. "He wanted space from Jen because she'd been nagging him night and day about a wedding. He had cold feet for a while, and admitted to friends that had he not gotten the acting role in New York, he might have ended the relationship."

Aniston began dating her "Wanderlust" co-star in 2011 and one year later, the actor proposed. The Hollywood actress previously denied reports of a postponed wedding and an insider claims she is eager to make things work.

"She's just so desperate to make her relationship work," the insider said.

"She wants to prove to the world that she can have a lasting relationship, even if it means none of her friends approve," the source added.
