Jordan Prepares for Expected Iraqi Refugees

As the conflict between the U.S. and Iraq escalates, Jordan prepares to meet the needs of Iraqi refugees. Myles Fish, president of the humanitarian group, International Aid, says their representatives are establishing a relief system in the camps. "One of the problems that was experienced in Afghanistan was that some of the stock piled supplies were looted in advance of the refugees arriving. So learning from experience I think the Jordanian government is being careful not to release that." Fish says part of their mission is to provide health care. "We will be providing food and water purification systems, pharmaceuticals and medical supplies. We have an entire portable medical clinic that we'll be setting up so that we can provide health care to the refugees as they come."
