Justin Bieber Speaks on Christmas Plans

After releasing a very popular Christmas album, pop sensation Justin Bieber opened up about his Christmas plans, his success, and his mother’s aversion to Santa Claus.

Christmas, for the Biebs, is split into two parts, because his mother and father are not together. Time spent with his mother and her side of the family, and then time spent with his father and siblings, Jazmyn and Jaxon.

“Christmas Eve is when [my mom's side of the family] get together… Then Christmas Day I always go with my dad and now with my little brother and little sister so that's always fun,” Bieber told AOL News. The most important thing to the pop star, though, is to be “in Canada with [his] family,” he added.

Bieber is anything but a normal 17-year-old, and the strange custom his mother had about Santa Claus reflects that. The teen singer claims his mother never told him Santa was real because she never wanted to be dishonest.

“[My mom] thought if I grew up knowing about Santa then finding out he wasn't real, that it would be like she was lying to me. And then when she told me about God, I maybe wouldn't believe her. So she just wanted to be straight-up and honest with me all the time,” said Bieber in the interview.

Although Bieber’s Christmas might not be just like everyone else’s he proved he still feels like many of us do.

“To be honest, I really don't have any Christmas wishes this year... I just wish to be happy and that everyone be healthy in my family,” said the pop singer.
