Kandi Burruss of Real Housewives of Atlanta Reacts to Kenya Moore's Weight Criticism

Kandi Burruss is reacting to Kenya Moore, her fellow cast member on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," suggesting that she should lose weight.

After Burruss was late to meet her other cast members for a group road trip, she announced that she stopped to get breakfast before her arrival. Moore expressed her frustrations about Burruss making an extra stop to eat, suggesting that she could stand to lose a few pounds in a confessional interview on the show.

After fans prompted a reaction from her, Burruss took to her Instagram account to defend her weight.

"Last night on the chat box for #KKN people wanted me to say how I felt about what @kenyamoore said on last week's episode of #RHOA.... Well she says I need to miss a few meals but I say Im fabulous," Burruss wrote. "Gone wit the wind fabulous, Gone wit the wind fabulous.... (In my @kenyamoore voice) (SIC)."

It seems Burruss was not upset with Moore about her comments, and made light of the matter by using hashtags to further express her views on the matter.

"#IDontCareWhatSheSays #YesMyThighsAreBigSoWhat #IWillLoveHerAnyway #ILoveMe #IRepresentTheCurvyGirls," "#NoImNotASize2 #IwillGoOnADietAfterTheHolidaysButForNowIWillJustBeHappyAsIAm."

Moore took to her Bravo TV blog to insist that Burruss had a nice figure and that she meant no harm by her comments.

"I made a wise crack at Kandi saying she could skip a meal. Kandi knows I think she has a great figure, so I'm sure she laughed as we have together about the 5-10 pounds she wants to lose. I'm not a tiny girl myself, and I appreciate a woman with curves. I won Miss USA at 128lbs and I'm now a healthy 145-150lb at 5'10." Moore wrote. "As women, we know 5lbs is everything to us, but I simply encourage all women to be healthy. My best selling workout DVD "Booty Boot Camp" is available worldwide on Amazon.com."
