Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran News: Says 'There's No Making Up Right Now' With Chris Brown

Weeks after Karrueche Tran broke up with Chris Brown after it was revealed that the singer fathered a nine-month old baby girl with an aspiring model named Nia, Tran finally opened up about her failed relationship to Iyanla Vanzant in an Oprah Winfrey Network exclusive interview on Saturday night.

"I feel hurt because the man I loved betrayed me. I will never again let a man disrespect me," she tearfully told Vanzant. "I want my voice to be heard … I want to clear it up and tell my story and tell my side."

Tran admitted that she knew that Brown wasn't an average guy when he asked her to "hang out" at a Norms restaurant on their first date. However, she says that it wasn't the fame and limelight that excited her about having a relationship with the singer.

"I saw a different side of Chris that not everybody sees. Although he's done whatever he's done, he's a good hearted person," she said. "He's a big kid with a big heart that's been through some things.

As the months and years went by, Tran admitted that Brown lied, cheated, and betrayed her on more than one occasion. Most recently, she found out that Brown had a baby with another woman.

"How did you find out he had a baby by another woman, that he's not married to?" Vanzant asked.

"Honestly, through social media," Tran admits. She says that the singer tried to reach out and talk to her in person, but it was too late.

"He said he's sorry. He's dropped flowers off. He's sorry for what he's put me through," she recalled. "There's no making up right now. I'm trying to be my strongest. I understand what he's put me through and I'm fed up."

However, Tran says that there will always be a special place in her heart for Brown.

"I still love him. I've changed to help him—go to church, pray, yoga, meditate—if he were to change, we would be in a better place, but that's the problem," she says.

The model also made it clear that she's not angry with the baby's mother. "My issue is with myself and with Chris," she says. "Not the baby, not the mother, not Rihanna, nobody. It's me and him."
