Kate Middleton Released From Hospital, Duke and Duchess Beaming (VIDEO)

Kate Middleton appeared to be in good spirits upon her exit from a London hospital Thursday morning, despite her recent health scare.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who is less than three months pregnant with her first child, was accompanied by her husband Prince William as she clutched a bouquet of flowers outside of King Edward VII Hospital. She was beaming as she waved to fans before the couple left in a waiting car.

Middleton, 30, was admitted to hospital on Monday after developing hyperemesis gravidarum, a condition that causes severe nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. She was also said to be suffering from the effects of dehydration, according to ABC News.

"The Duchess of Cambridge is continuing to feel better," a rep for St. James's Palace said in a statement. "She and the duke are immensely grateful for the good wishes they have received."

Middleton will reportedly recover at Kensington Palace. She was allegedly given anti-nausea medication and has been advised to take extra precaution because she is still in early stages of her pregnancy.

"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby," the palace said in a statement Monday. "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news."

British Prime Minister David Cameron was among many who offered early well wishes to the Duke and Duchess after learning of Middleton's pregnancy. Despite their good news the couple was recently embroiled in a security scare after two Australian DJs made a prank call to the hospital where Middleton was admitted.

2Day FM presenters, Mel Greig and Michael Christian posed as Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles during the publicized phone call and were successful in obtaining personal information about Middleton from her nurse. The pair has since apologized and the Royal couple recently thanked hospital staff despite the privacy breach.

"The Duchess of Cambridge has been discharged from the King Edward VII Hospital and will now head to Kensington Palace for a period of rest," St James' Palace said. "Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank the staff at the hospital for the care and treatment the Duchess has received."
