Katy Perry Vogue Cover: Singer Stuns in Rodarte Dress (PHOTO)

Katy Perry will grace the cover of Vogue magazine for the first time ever in coming days and fans got a sneak peak of the highly anticipated July issue on Friday.

Dressed in an off-the-shoulder, floral print Rodarte dress, Perry, 28, looks flawless while casually seated in a bed of grass with a vacant expression. The cover, which was shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, is for the leading fashion publication's July issue which will be available online on June 18.

"Leaving pop novelty and broken hearts behind her, Katy Perry has grown into her formidable talent," Vogue wrote below a snapshot of the cover.

Fans of the "Hot N Cold" singer flocked to social networking site to weigh in on Perry's first Vogue cover with an overwhelming majority applauding her.

"She's channeling Snow White! The black hair, fair skin...the entire look is innocent and chic. Good job Katy Perry! #Vogue," Deanna tweeted.

"Yes!! Katy Perry looks amazing on the cover of Vogue! Her makeup is on point, cannot wait to buy," Harley tweeted.

"It's about time! Katy Perry looks fab as always on the cover of Vogue. Love my girl, get it boo," Pisces tweeted.

Perry, who split from John Mayer in recent months, is believed to have opened up about her love life to the publication

The pop star has been linked to various celebrities in recent years, including her ex-husband Russell Brand. A new report claims she and Mayer, 36, are giving their on-and-off relationship another try following their March split.

"They are just hanging out. They are not putting a label on it," a source told The Sun U.K.

It is not clear why exactly Mayer, who has been linked to various Hollywood actresses including Jennifer Aniston, previously ended his relationship with Perry. In the months prior to their split, however, it was claimed that she ultimately grew weary of Mayer's motives.

"He's very defensive and comes across as extremely jealous of her career," a source linked to Perry previously told People magazine.
