Kendrick Lamar 'Control' Verse Targets Lindsay Lohan, Drake, and Others

Kendrick Lamar has declared war with his verse on fellow rapper Big Sean's song "Control"- which includes a specialized insult for many famous names.

If you didn't know who Kendrick Lamar was before, it appears the most everyone will now following the debut of "Control." The once-forgotten single was released Monday by Big Sean after being left out of Big Sean's latest album, "Hall of Fame."

Lamar was already a bit of an Internet celebrity, having built enough of a following to work with names like Dr. Dre and Young Jeezy long before his first album was produced. But his latest track, which attacks a number of artists in the music industry and even takes jabs at Lindsay Lohan, has already garnered an impressive amount Internet gossip.

"I'm usually homeboys" with the fellow rhyming artists, the rapper says on his verse of the song. "But this is hip-hop" and they "should know what time it is." "They includes:" J. Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake, Big Sean, Jay Electronica, Tyler, and Mac Miller.

"I got love for you all but I'm tryna murder you," he continued. "Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you."

One rapper, Pusha T, was quick to respond to the lyrics although his opinion remained a mystery.

"I hear u loud and clear," the fellow rapper responded.

Other rappers have also been quick to chime in and share their own opinion of the song. But rappers weren't the only victims in the song. Lamar also went after Lohan accusing her of being one of many "rich a-- white girls lookin' for parties / Playin with Barbies, wreck the Porsche before you give 'em the car key." The rapper also alludes to Lohan's drug usage.

Not everyone was opposed to the rapper for his daring song, however. Missy Elliott thanked the "good kid" on Twitter for forcing rap artists "2 be Lyrical and have substance again." Others agreed.
