Kenya Moore Evicted? 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Star's Eviction Is Official, According to Reports
Kenya Moore, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" television personality and former Miss USA, may have officially been evicted from her home recently.
A Fulton County, Ga. judge officially ruled that the reality television star will have to leave her current six bedroom six bathroom mansion in Fulton County, Ga after owing $848 on her $3999 per month rent. Conya Dillon, Moore's landlord who had her evicted, recently spoke about the eviction in a Radar Online report.
"I am making this statement as a result of the eviction order and judgment made against my former tenant, Kenya Moore, on June 18, 2013 in the Magistrate Court of Fulton County," Dillon told RadarOnline. "The decision to file this eviction notice regarding Ms. Moore was reached after pursuing every possible amicable way to settle this matter privately. I am grateful that the judicial system has brought finality to this eviction process and I look forward to regaining possession of my home."
Moore has claimed that her landlord is wrongfully evicting her and that she has paid the amount of money that she owes. According to Moore, Dillon is spreading false stories about the actress, producer and reality television star for monetary gain, TMZ reported.
Although the reality television star filed a counter lawsuit, the judge did not rule in her favor. When news of Moore failing to pay her rent made headlines on websites like PerezHilton.com, Moore responded through social media.
"Good morning #teamtwirl! Believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see. #twirlonthat," Moore tweeted.
However, it seems the former pageant star will be forced to leave her property after sources also say she brought negative attention to the neighborhood.
"The homeowner is incredibly upset at what is unwanted attention that has been caused as a result of Kenya moving into the neighborhood," a source reportedly told RadarOnline.
