Although Lamar Odom and former teammates have expressed upset about the former Los Angeles Lakers’ forward being traded to the Dallas Mavericks, his wife Khloe is leaning on God.

"You don't want to go to no place you're not wanted," Odom told the Los Angeles Times.

Odom’s wife, Khloe, took to her Twitter account to share a scripture with her followers and husband. The Kardashian sister tweeted from Jeremiah 29 verse 11.

“For I know the plans I have for u," declares the LORD. "Plans to prosper u and not to harm u, plans to give u hope and a future." Jeremiah'," Khloe tweeted after hearing about the trade.

The 32-year-old newly acquired Mavericks forward played seven seasons with the Lakers, averaging 14.4 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists. Odom told an ESPN radio station that he was upset because of the life that he built in Los Angeles.

"L.A. is home for me for more than one reason," Odom said. “I found my wife in L.A., my family. The team, I had a lot of pride playing for them."

Kobe Bryant, Lakers’ shooting guard, was also upset to see Odom leave his team.

“To be honest with you, I don't like it, it's tough to lose Lamar,” Bryant said in NBA.com reports. “It's hard when you've been through so many battles with players to just see them go somewhere else. It's tough."

However, Khloe maintained that although the trade was frustrating, God was blessing her and Odom.

"I am blessed and happy anywhere as long as I am with my family,” Khloe tweeted. “God is great! Blessed beyond words."
