Kim Kardashian Divorce: Reality TV Star Admits Having Best Time of Life Days Before Divorce

The reasons behind Kim Kardashian’s divorce remain a mystery, but the reality show star has been more than eager to talk about why she got married, and even shared tips on what she believes would make a solid marriage.

The December issue of the Marie Claire magazine featured Kardashian on the cover, where she is wearing the $2 million engagement ring bought by ex-husband Kris Humphries, according to RadarOnline.

She gave an interview to the magazine just days before she filed for divorce, and she explained why the couple was so quick to get married.

"We felt like, 'Why wait? It's fun to have a partner who understands your life and lets you be you,’" said Kardashian to Marie Claire.

The reality show star also went on to talk about her then-husband, complimenting him on his down-to-earth attitude and his willingness to let her work and be who she wants to be.

"He’s such a good guy; he is so down-to-earth, and it’s such a reality check. He is a normal guy, and I just want to chill out and be normal and not get glammed up all the time. He gets it,” she said.

Kardashian also shared that she believes trust is the most important thing for a successful marriage, and stated that she trusts Humphries completely and does not believe the two will ever do anything to hurt each other.

The interview even included a quote from Kardashian stating her complete happiness at the current time.

"I feel like where we are at right now is the best time in my life," she insisted.

Questions are bound to continue swirling over the divorce, especially considering this interview, and fans will be eager to know just what happened in the short days between these comments and Kardashian filing for divorce on Oct. 31 that changed her entire stance.
